  Congratualtions making it this far.

  I thought Perry gave more than one biblical proof of the trinity.

  I respect that you don't interpret it that way. Thats on you.

  Isaiah 43:11 “I am Jehovah and besides me there is no savior.”

  If you consider the whole bible, which is recommeded by many,

  If Jehovah is the savior and Jesus is the savior that is at least 2 parts of the trinity.

  Another point that pops in my head.

  When I was a JW. I was a weirdo.

  I belonged to a weirdo religion that went against everything, it went against the grain.

  I didnt like that.

  Where I live in the USA

  In Florida the south.

  People believe in the bible and Jesus.

  31 years as a JW was enough going against the grain and being a weiirdo for me.

  The above is not the only reason, I believe in Jesus.

  But is is one of many.

  Designs.

  I try to find a way to make Jesus work for me.

  Believing in Jesus is comforting.

  I am a ware of the pros and cons.

  I ask myself was I put here to figure out that there is no God and live according to that belief?

  Or was I put here to have the best life I posibly can and live according to that belief?

  I think to have the best life I posibly can is the ticket for me.

  And in my life that includes Jesus.

  It doesnt cost me any money.

  And it is the way I make sense of things.

  I do enjoy reading the atheist arguments and I could easily be an atheist.

  But at the end of the day the end of the week, I choose Jesus.

  Perry you have posted a good scriptural argument/proof for the trinity.

  I think JW's dont get the trinity because they dont read their bibles cover to cover.

  They read it piece meal to come to their pre concieved conclusions.

  I never stopped praying.

  I pray to God whoever and where ever he may be.

  At the very least it organizes and consolodates my thoughts.

  I would probably pray and get drunk.

  You can survive a nuclear war. It all depends where the bombs go off.

  Just letting you know I passed the exam

  hi, my apostate friends.. a couple of weeks ago i asked for some advice regarding studying methods.

  then some of you asked me to let you know my score after i take the exam at mineralogy.. i scored 90%.

  i'm pretty happy with it because the exams i take are not in my native language.. if i keep up with the good scores i might get a scholarship and then bye bye watchtower society.

  How do you shut your mind down so you can get a good night sleep???

  the more i learn about jw's the harder it is.

  to sleep at night.

  the wife hit the pillow and within 5 min.. she is snoring.

  I escaped the tower at 31. I spent the next 30 years looking for a good nights sleep.

  Now that I am retired I sleep whenever I feel like it.

  But to sleep within a certain time frame and have to get up the next day and perform

  was always difficult for me.

  I spent my life wearing myself out with exersize and knocking myself out with beer.

  You could try paxil, or celexia, I have taken those and they slow me down.

  They slow my thoughts down and everything else.

  I tried to quit about a week ago and my wife could tell right away.

  I take 5 mg of melatonin before I go to bed every night also.

  A Thread for Cyclists - Where Do you Ride?

  i took up cycing a couple of months ago just to get fitter and lose a bit of excess weight.. i bought a second-hand hybrid bike (weighs only slightly less than a truck) and fitted road tyres.

  four or five times a week i will go for a ride after work for an hour or so.

  i am fortunate enough to live in rural north england surrounded by limitless quiet roads.
